NSH’s Member Referral Program
As an NSH member, you know the value of being a part of your professional society. On top of the access to education and resources, NSH membership provides genuine connections with other histotechs and opportunities to expand your resume, get involved, and learn from your peers.
Help us share the value of NSH with others in the field who could benefit from the career advancement that NSH offers by participating in our member referral program.
How it Works
When you refer someone to NSH, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win some great prizes; plus, your recruit will receive an electronic Amazon gift card for $15.
All they have to do is join as a Core or Enhanced member (no students or retired), July 5th- September 12th, and enter your name in the referral field. The member must be a new or rejoining member; they can’t be a current member who is renewing.

About Those Prizes!
Referrers:
For every person you refer, you are entered into a drawing to win a Fitbit. For example, you refer two colleagues; your name goes in two times. There will be 3 Fitbit drawings, July 30th, August 16th, and September 12th. If you are selected as a winner, yay!! You get your Fitbit, and your name comes out of the drawing. Your name remains in if you do not win, and you may be selected in subsequent drawings.
Winners will be notified via email on their NSH account and publicly announced via email, social media, The Block, and the NSH website.
If you refer 4+ people, you will be entered into one final drawing, September 16th to win an iPad.
Referees:
When you join and list a referrer, you will receive a $15 Amazon gift card. Your gift card will be delivered electronically to you via email on the Friday following your joining. If you do not receive your gift card, please check your spam folder and then email natalie@nsh.org.
Terms and Conditions
- The drawing for the Fitbit and Ipad will take place at the end of the NSH Convention, September 16th. Winners will be notified via email.
- Joining members will receive their Amazon gift card electronically via email to the email address on their NSH account, at the end of the month in which they joined.
- Referrals are not retroactive. Only joins/rejoins that enter your name in the referral field while joining between July 12th and 11:59 PM PST on September 12th will be counted. If mailing a paper application, the application must be received by the deadline.
- Only Core and Enhanced members are included in the promotion, not Student or Retired.
- Only new and rejoining members are included, not current members renewing
