Your Histotechnology Career

Anatomic Pathology and Histology labs are experiencing record staffing shortages. There has never been a better time to be a histotechnician or histotechnologist. As preanalytical processes become increasingly complex, it is important the working histotechs keep up with technology through continuing competence training and adding the competencies (skills) that make you marketable into the future. NSH’s mission is to improve patient outcomes by shaping histotechnology through a global community of professionals committed to education, advocacy, and quality care.  In addition to the science of histology and histotechnology, leadership skills are in high demand for upward growth and salary increases.
