Student Scholarships

Applications for 2021 are now open! Applications close June 4th. 

Recognition - $500 Scholarships

Every year NSH offers five $500 scholarships to NSH student members enrolled in a NAACLS approved histology program. Scholarship funds are provided to support the educational endeavors of aspiring Histotechnologists. 

Application Process

  • The recipient is recognized at the NSH Annual Membership Meeting in September
  • In addition, the recipient of this scholarship receives a $500 scholarship given on a reimbursement basis.

Applicants are considered for all five scholarships when applying:

  • NSH Student Scholarship
  • Avantik Student Scholarship
  • Irwin S. Learner Student Scholarship sponsored by Epredia
  • Newcomer Supply Student Scholarship
  • Sakura Finetek USA Student Scholarship

Criteria/Applicant Requirements

Additional Application Criteria

  • If selected as a recipient, the student will complete a brief questionnaire about their student scholarship use
