We live in an ever-changing world. As happy and as set in our routines as we may be, there are always new variables that come into play that require us to adapt and change. This is very true in the histology laboratory where everything from new expectations to new regulations and technologies require us to make changes. As necessary as change is, though, it is not always easy, and we do not always know where or how to start. In the end, we can choose to be dragged kicking and screaming through changes, or be proactive drivers of changes that benefit those working in the laboratory.
