NSH Responds to CMS Request for Information: Revisions to Personnel Regulations, Proficiency Testing Referral, Histocompatibility Regulations and Fee Regulations Under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) [CMS-3326-NC].
NSH joined the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board of Certification and its professional partners in responding to the above request. In addition NSH submitted its own response with a focus on histology. We believe providing a united esponse from the clinical laboratory community should have the highest impact. We thank every member who took the respond to respond invidivudally. Overall the call for comments generated over 8,500 responses.
