Decalcification can be challenging at times in any histology laboratory, either research or clinical. It can destroy the most precious tissue sample even when using the laboratory’s tried and true decalcification procedure. This teleconference will discuss many op-tions of using pre-mixed or homemade reagents for small to large size decalcification processes. It will also cover what is available on the market and how to determine which is the best method to use, based on the gross appearance of the tissue.
