This teleconference will discuss how HER2 (c-erbB2) is assessed via protein, mRNA and DNA using common methods. On overview of the most common methods of FDA-approved HER2 analysis will be explained, including IHC and ISH will be provided. Discussion will include examples of the types of images generated (bright field, fluorescent), their characteristic staining patterns, and the methods of scoring and interpretation.
