NSH In Action, a quarterly publication of the National Society for Histotechnology, serves as a means of communication between the organization and its membership. NSH In Action reports on NSH activities, goals, and accomplishments; promotes NSH’s educational publications and resources; publicizes membership benefits; updates professional rules and regulations; encourages members to become more involved with the organization; and acts as a marketing tool to retain and recruit members.

As the Editor of NSH In Action, my role is to plan, produce, and publish a well-written, informative, interesting, and up-to-the minute newsletter. I function as editor, typist, designer, desktop publisher, photographer, and proofreader.

NSH officers, committee chairs, appointees, and staff are responsible for contributing news and articles about committee activities to the newsletter and, occasionally, other NSH members may be asked to write a commentary or essay. However, any member of NSH may submit an article for possible publication. NSH In Action is open to ideas and suggestions for change or improvement from the general membership. Letters to the Editor concerning current topics are always welcome. NSH In Action is committed to serve its readers.
