Carrie joined NSH in 2000 as the Symposium/Convention Meeting Manager. After seeing the S/C through 5 straight years of growth she was promoted to Executive Director in February 2005. As Executive Director Carrie acts under the immediate direction of the Board and conducts the business of the National Office of the Society, keeps an accurate roster of the membership and performs all other duties assigned by the President and the Board. She serves as a non-voting member of the Board and the House of Delegates. Carrie is a lifetime volunteer to the Special Olympics in Maryland and loves spending time with her two little girls & her favorite four- legged beings on earth, her two beagles.

Aubrey joined NSH in May of 2005. Her primary responsibility is to plan and execute events for the Society including the Annual Symposium/Convention, Teleconference Program and the expanded event offerings approved for 2009: the Summer Symposium, Topic Forums and ½ day sessions. To successfully put on these events Aubrey works with the Convention Chair and several volunteer committee members. As part of her duties in the Meetings Department, Aubrey also manages the Contact Hour Applications. She assists the Executive Director with the maintenance of the NSH website and works on NSH marketing campaigns. Aubrey is the proud momma of 4 year old Jake & loves cheesy movies.

Brenda joined NSH in November 2006 as the Registration Coordinator for the meetings department. Brenda is responsible for the registration process of all NSH events & as past attendees might tell you she holds the key to sold out workshops at the S/C. She also works with the Meeting Manager and several volunteer committee members in the planning process for all events and marketing efforts. Brenda was born & raised in Maryland so if you ever come to the National office she is your best resource for local food haunts & shopping.

Beth joined the NSH team in January 2008 as the NSH Administrative Assistant. Her primary focus is in the meetings department working with Aubrey & Brenda on registration, contact hours and member certificates. If you have ever called the national office it is very likely you have spoken to Beth. When not at NSH, Beth enjoys being mom to her 11 month old son, cooking yummy dinners & exploring her true calling – singing & acting in local theater.
