Committeee Volunteer Form

NSH has 2 types of committees - Technical and Business.

The Technical or Resource Committees were created to provide resources for histotechs working in similar subject areas.  Joining a committee provides you acces to to their forums or listservs but it also implies your willingness to share your knowlege and help produce new resource materials.  These resources range from manuals, quick tip papers, articles for newsletters, presenting workshops or helping to organize online content.

NSH Business committees work with the Board of Directors, the House of Delegates and the NSH office to carry out the duties of running a membership organization.  Some business committees focus on one NSH task e.g the Convention Committee while other business committees have broader objectives eg the Membership or PR committees.

You must be an active NSH Member to participate on any committee.
