Heather Michele Chancey  Histology School -  Florida State College of Jacksonville 

Heather is a non-traditional student at the florida State College at Jacksonville. She is married, with children, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Mangement and marketing. She is now in her second semester of the three semester program and has just begun practicum. Heather is an excellent student with a 3.75 GPA in the HT program and a 4.0 GPA in her histology courses. Her long term goal is to use her management degree, coupled with her certification and licensure and move into a supervisory role in Histology.

Dominique Colbert:  Histology School - SUNY Cobleskill

Dominique is a student in the Histotechnology Program at the SUNY Cobleskill Campus in New York State. She has a BA in Biology and currently works in the clinical lab in Central Specimen Receiving, Phlebotomy and the Reference Departments in order to assist her brother through his first year of college. Dominique is described as a positive asset to the institution. She is an essential part of the team, willing to help in whatever area she is needed. She responds well to assistance and is open to trying different techniques to improve the quality of her work.

Jamie Davis:  Histology School - William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak School of Histotechnology

Jamie is a current student at William Beaumont Hospital's School of Histotechnology in Royal Oak, MI. Jamie is a graduate from Grand Valley State University where found her academic focus come together after doing some research with carotid arteries. She found the work to be interesting and enjoyable and took some more difficult science classes like virology and immunology. She shows natual leadership abilities when working with other students, she volunteers to help in the histology lab with changing processors, labeling slides and filing blocks. Her instructors describer her as everything you could want in a student as well as everything a supervisor would want in an employee.

Bianca Zinno: Histology School - Tarleton State University

Bianca is a current student at Tarleton State University in Fort Worth, TX. She is said to have show an outstanding grasp of the theory of histotechnology. When she was introduced to some of the technical skills, she echibited very good manual dexterity and attention to instruction. She is excited at the prospect of making a positive difference in the lives of people and their health. Her Program Director describes her as the future of histotechnology!
