NSH Educators Series

NSH’s online Educator Series is designed for program directors and instructors of NAACLS accredited HT/HTL programs and supervisors who train employees and teach in classroom settings. The course explores learning styles/differentiated instruction, how to use assessment and measurement in an educational setting to improve learning outcomes/instruction, and will deconstruct the components of a question based on Bloom's taxonomy. Attendees will be asked to bring their own assessment questions into the workshop to self review, peer edit, and share ideas.

The course consists of three live interactive sessions conducted via Zoom. Instructors will utilize chat, polling and break out rooms. Each participant attending the course will earn 3.5 CEUs.

Course Sessions Include:

  • 12/7, 1pm - 2pm ET: The Basics of Differentiated Instruction and Why It Matters
  • 12/8, 1pm ET - 2:30pm ET: Writing Effective Questions
  • 12/9, 1pm - 2pm ET: Measurement and Assessment
