Biogenex Award for Excellence in In Situ Hybridization

Biogenex sponsors this award with a $1000 grant.  This award will be presented each year that a nominee/applicant has been selected. The award recipient will be recognized at the awards banquet during the annual NSH Symposium/ Convention.

This award will be presented to a NSH member certified in histology, who is pursuing advanced work in In Situ Hybridization.

This may be supported by:

1. Publication of a research paper utilizing ISH in a peer reviewed journal.
2. Presentation of an abstract on ISH at a scientific conference.
3. The teaching of ISH through workshops, lectures and teleconferences.
4. Continued and advanced work on ISH in one’s own institution, as evidenced by letters of support from the supervisor, pathologist and peers.

The Applicant must submit:

1. Proof of certification.
2. Up-to-date curriculum vitae.
3. Copy of research paper, abstracts and/or workshops/lecture handouts.
4. Letter of recommendation by supervisor or pathologist as to the candidates involvement in ISH.
