I am a charter member of the National Society for Histotechnology and have been involved with NSH throughout my career. I have supported NSH in their mission to advance professional growth, standards, knowledge and performance in Histotechnology by providing continuing and formal education programs for the members.
As Region VIII Director, I will continue to support NSH in reaching out to each Region VIII member as well as identify opportunities to promote the career of histotechnicians and Histotechnologists. Serving as the liaison for Region VIII, I will forward to NSH any concerns that the members may have regarding workshops, legislative actions, etc.
I am looking forward to greater growth in NSH membership and continued learning.
