CELLS alive! represents 30 years of capturing film and computer-enhanced images of living cells and organisms for education and medical research. The site has been available continuously and updated annually since May of 1994 and now hosts over 4 million visitors a year.
Histosearch searches over 100,000 web pages from histology related sites on the Internet.
The Histonet listserver is a listserver for the Histology profession that is managed as a service to the field of Histology by Dr. Linda Margraf, Dr. Herb Hagler and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology.
The Histonet Search Engine searches and indexes messages from the Histonet listserver.
HistoTALK's format will be a light and airy talk-radio style. Joining host, David Kemler, will be industry "guests" who will share interesting and informative topics via telephone interviews. HistoTALK is currently produced on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. All programs are On-Demand 24/7 so it would be hard for you to miss any of the "exciting" shows!
Discover that histology can be beautiful, interesting and fun. Here at Histology-World, you will find histology games, histology entertainment, and histology educational material. Explore this histology site... have some fun, and in the process, learn some histology.
Human Protein Atlas
The human protein atlas shows expression and localization of proteins in a large variety of normal human tissues, cancer cells and cell lines with the aid of immunohistochemistry (IHC) images and immunofluorescence (IF) confocal microscopy images.
All things Immuno and ISH related. Includes forums, image galleries, and reference articles.
Journal of Histotechnology
The Journal of Histotechnology publishes original articles dealing with vertebrate histology or cytology, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, marine histology, nuclear histology, veterinary histology, fluorescence and electron microscopy, molecular biology, and case studies describing the use of stains in the analysis of disease in human or animal tissue. Articles dealing with quality control, tricks of the trade, and educational or administrative techniques directly related to these disciplines are also published.
Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry
The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry publishes significant advances in visual techniques that provide biochemical and molecular information about the structure and function of cells, tissues, and organs. In addition to novel primary data papers, timely review articles on all aspects of cell biology are encouraged. The journal emphasizes microscopic analyses of cells and tissues but encourages submissions in which histochemical and cytochemical techniques are complemented by modern genetic, molecular and biochemical approaches.
