Member Directory/2010 House of Delegates
The 2010 House of Delegates will convene on September 29, 2010, at 7:00 PM in Seattle, WA. Prior to that time, it is the duty of the Speaker to call for agenda items. The HOD Secretary and the Speaker must have your cooperation to prepare an agenda and therefore the following schedule has been established:
BYLAW AMMENDMENTS: Amendments must be received at least 90 days prior to the convening of the HOD such that the Bylaws Committee has ample time to review, reach a consensus and submit these agenda items to the Speaker. Any proposals to amend the bylaws must be submitted to the Bylaws Committee and copied to the Speaker no later than July 1, 2010. The current Bylaws are on the NSH website under About NSH/Governance.
AGENDA ITEMS: All proposed agenda items are to be submitted to the Speaker no later than July 29, 2010. If possible, please use the attached online agenda submission form. Press the TAB key to advance from field to field or point and click with the mouse. Type in all required information or press enter to select discussion/action. Once each shaded box is completed, save the form and email to Speaker and Secretary of the HOD at email listed below. Printable agenda forms are available on the NSH website and can be mailed to the address below.
AGENDA PACKETS: Agenda packets will be emailed to the delegates by August 29, 2010 (30 days prior to the meeting).
I am depending on the Region Directors to solicit and submit agenda items from the states in their respective regions. Any member of the Society may submit items for discussion or action in the House. The member can then speak to the item personally if that member is a credentialed member of the House, or through another credentialed member of the House.
