The Continuing Education Committee establishes policies for approval of contact hours from the Society. The Committee works closely with the NSH office to review meetings submitted for contact hour approval to ensure sessions meet the standards not only during the approval process but also following the event through the evaluation process.

NSH is an ASCP approved provider of contact hours for histotechnicians and histotechnologists. Educational societies and industry partners are able to submit their meetings or offerings to NSH for review and assigment of contact hours. For complete information and forms please click here.
Earn Contact Hours
NSH provides multiple opportunities to earn contact hours throughout the year. Opportunities include attending face to face events, teleconferences, completing approved quizes and Journal of Histotechnology article tests, authoring articles or creating a scientific poster.
